What's New - July 2026
Monthly Release Notes - July 2026
Disable Automatic Experience Completion
We introduced a new checkbox that allows users to prevent experiences from being completed automatically.
When this option is enabled, experiences will continue running until they are manually paused or completed, giving teams greater control over how and when their tests end. More info here.
Hide Shopify Shipping Rates
Shopify users can now hide selected shipping rates as part of their experimentation and personalization workflows.
This new capability gives teams more flexibility when testing checkout and delivery experiences, allowing them to control which shipping options are presented to eligible visitors. More info here.
Search, Filter, and Sort in the QA Overlay
We improved the QA Overlay by adding search, filtering, and sorting capabilities.
Users can now find relevant experiences, variations, goals, and other items more quickly while previewing and validating their tests. This makes it easier to work with larger or more complex QA configurations.
The QA Overlay provides a controlled environment for previewing experiments, selecting variations, testing audiences, and reviewing live activity. More info here.
Dynamic Traffic Adjustment for Fullstack Experiments
Fullstack users can now adjust an experiment’s traffic allocation while the experiment is running without reshuffling existing participants or compromising the reliability of the results.
Previously, changing traffic settings during a test could reassign participants and make the collected data more difficult to interpret. With this update, teams can begin an experiment with a smaller audience and gradually increase traffic as confidence in the implementation grows.
This provides a safer and more flexible way to scale experiments after launch. Check our developer documentation for more info. More here.
Live Preview Links for Fullstack Variations
We introduced Live Preview Links for fullstack experiments, allowing users to view a specific variation directly on the real application or website before launching it.
Preview links can be shared with collaborators, while QR codes make it easier to open and review variations on mobile devices. No additional coding or staging build is required.
Preview sessions do not record experiment data, ensuring that internal reviews and QA activity never affect reports. Check our developer documentation for more info. More here.
Experiment Inclusion and Exclusion Targeting
Fullstack experiments can now target visitors based on whether they are already participating in another experiment.
Teams can use exclusion targeting to prevent experiments from overlapping, reducing the risk of one test influencing the results of another. Inclusion targeting can also be used to launch follow-up experiments specifically for visitors who participated in an earlier test.
This enables cleaner experiment designs, more precise sequencing, and results with less cross-contamination between experiences.
Convert’s fullstack SDK supports server-side experimentation by evaluating experience, location, and audience rules within an application’s own technology stack. Check our developer documentation for more info. More here.
