Shopify Web Pixel Extension Improved for More Accurate Checkout Start Tracking
We’ve optimized the web pixel extension to improve how checkout start events are captured.
This update increases the accuracy of checkout-start tracking, helping teams collect more reliable data at a key step in the purchase journey.
Theme Extension Now Loads Long Scripts via Shopify CDN
We’ve optimized the theme extension to offload longer scripts through the Shopify CDN instead of relying on inline script tags.
By serving these scripts through Shopify’s CDN, this update helps streamline script delivery and supports a cleaner implementation approach within Shopify themes.
Conditional Pricing Rules Script Now Loads Only When Enabled
The conditional pricing rules script is now handled through the theme extension and will only load when the feature is enabled.
This change reduces unnecessary script loading for stores that are not using conditional pricing rules, helping improve efficiency and keeping the storefront lighter by default.
New Optional Async Setting for Performance Optimization
A new optional async setting is now available under the Performance Optimization field in the app UI.
This gives teams more flexibility when prioritizing Core Web Vitals, allowing the script to load asynchronously in cases where performance optimization is preferred.
Custom Domain (CNAME) for More Reliable Tracking
We introduced Custom Domain (CNAME) support, giving users more control over how their tracking code is delivered.
This helps reduce the impact of ad blockers and can improve reporting accuracy by making it more likely that visitor data is captured consistently.
Keep Running Until Confidence
We added a new automation option that allows an experience to continue running until it reaches confidence.
This gives teams more flexibility when they want the platform to keep tests active until there is stronger statistical certainty before making a decision.
New Visual Editor Alert System
We introduced a Visual Editor alert system that informs users when elements are missing on their website.
This is especially useful for both dynamic websites and SPAs, where elements may not always be immediately available or may change after page load.
End Date Scheduling from the Start
We made it possible for users to schedule both the start and end date of an experience right from inception.
This gives teams more control over campaign planning and makes it easier to align experiments with launches, promotions, and other time-sensitive initiatives.
AI Improvements in the Code Editor
We improved Code AI so users can now optimize and improve their code directly within the Code Editor.
This makes it easier to refine implementation details, clean up logic, and work more efficiently when building or editing experiments.
Live Duration Insights Now Available for Bayesian Tests
We expanded Live Duration Insights so they now work for Bayesian tests as well.
Previously, this capability was only available for Frequentist tests. With this update, Bayesian users can now also get better visibility into expected experiment timelines and planning.
Custom Domain Now Available as an Add-On
Users can now purchase Custom Domain as an add-on through the new Add-On section in the plan area of their account.
This makes it easier to access advanced tracking setup options directly from within account billing and plan management.
