THIS ARTICLE WILL HELP YOU:
Understand Engagement and the Decrease Bounce Rate Goals
Decrease Bounce Rate Goal:
When a visitor remains on a site with Convert installed, a reduced bounce rate is seen as a successful conversion. The higher the Decrease Bounce Rate, the lower the Bounce Rate, which is our desired outcome. We define a successful visit (or a non-bounce) in two ways:
- The visitor navigates to more than one page.
- The visitor spends at least 10 seconds during their session.
Engagement Enhancement Goal:
The goal of increased engagement is met when a visitor clicks on any hyperlink (link) on the test pages. Clicks on buttons or other elements do not trigger this goal.
