Sometimes, you may feel that a big order on your e-commerce site throws your experiment revenue numbers off, and you are not getting an accurate picture.
Convert enables you to disregard certain orders based on configurable amount thresholds. We call these "Order Outliers."
Available Outlier Settings
You can now set outliers for both Order Value and Product Count in your experiments. Outlier types include:
- None: No filtering applied.
- Max/Min: Set upper and lower limits for either Order Value or Product Count to exclude orders that fall outside these thresholds.
- Percentile: Filter out orders that fall below or above specific percentile ranges based on Order Value or Product Count.
This setting must be enabled before the orders are taken for them to be included or disregarded. This action cannot be set up retroactively.
For this to work, you need to have revenue tracking enabled on your site.
For example, let's say that we want to ignore any sales below 5 of your base currency and 1000.
Configuring Outlier Limits
- We first open the Stats & Settings section of our experience in the "Experience Summary" screen.
- Then enter the Order Outliers limits in the appropriate boxes, and save the configuration:
After this, Convert will disregard the orders that don't fall within these limits.
